“I enjoy welcoming and meeting new patients, obtaining insurance authorizations and supervising the billing process while ensuring accurate, complete information in our EMR (electronic medical records) software transfers billing correctly. I also coordinate insurance company payment collections, which is critical not only for our patients getting the care they need but for maintaining our services and standard of care. It’s fascinating to see all the moving parts required for my job. It’s never boring.
“When I’m not working, I love spending time with my family on weekends and helping my daughter with her wedding plans. I also love going to the gym. It’s a getaway for me to relax now that my kids are older and more independent. I also love being outside in nice weather, going to the beach or the park. I love cooking because it keeps me peaceful. As a mom, I learned to cook different things so my family wouldn’t get bored.
