Our approach to hand therapy NYC and occupational therapy New York occupational and hand therapy centers around hands-on manual therapy. While we employ other modalities such as thermal therapy, electrical stimulation, therapeutic ultrasound and therapeutic exercises, we know that direct, hands-on therapy is essential to creating an effective treatment program that achieves optimal results. Manual therapy is particularly helpful for acute irritation to joints, tendonitis and nerve-compression problems. Prior to manipulating joints, our therapists carefully assess each joint’s mobility. We then perform joint-specific mobilization.
Without proper, timely rehabilitation, an upper extremity injury can affect your life and your livelihood. Nick Roselli Occupational Therapy New York, with well-trained, experienced occupational and certified hand therapists on staff, has become a trusted resource for manual upper extremity rehabilitation. We can often correct difficulties more quickly, avoid potential problems and achieve optimal results by providing manual therapy OT programs in NY as an adjunct to your treatment plan.
We begin your rehabilitative process by evaluating scar tissue, range of motion, strength, compensatory behaviors and pain response.
In many cases, we will create a custom splint to help stabilize the injury. After that, we design a program aimed at rebuilding strength and restoring flexibility, stability and normal function… all custom-suited to your specific needs.
In cases where surgery is not necessary, recovery protocols are designed by our occupational therapists in keeping with today’s most effective rehabilitation of upper extremity problems. We work closely with your physicians and surgeons. We follow their protocols and provide them with reports on your progress.

I recently finished my elbow therapies and I want to leave you this comment as a thank you for your excellent work and service. In this place you feel peace and harmony from the moment you enter. A very professional team dedicated to giving the best. Thank you very much Nick, continue doing that excellent work.
Donna is an excellent occupational therapist. She makes you feel at home because she is a caring understanding patient person. I have osteoarthritis and she has helped me so much through the years.Thank you for all that you do for me and making my experience such a positive one.
I’m new as a patient here but so far so good. The staff is friendly and professional. The space is a little small but that means that there are less people but more one on one time with your therapist. They seem to have adequate tools and knowledge to promote health and healing to hands.
This establishment is the way it should be. You go in damaged, and they repair you back . They work efficiently and in harmony together . A pleasure going there for therapy. Thanks.
I found this place on google and since the first therapy I have felt a very considerable improvement. I am very satisfied with the results. I recommend it 100 percent.
